Update

DSL's back, thank goodness.

So what has transpired between the last update and now?

1. We had no water for three days. The pump up here in the subdivision got busted, so our whole area was waterless for three days. In a way we were a little better off than everyone else because we had a tank that collected rainwater, but it was a little unnerving having to take our baths in Casino. At one point I had to use rainwater right after it rained, and it was FREEZING. No joke. When we got the water back, it was heaven just watching each drop fall from the tap. Y'never miss the water until the well's gone dry. Very true.

2. Exams. In not so many words, I think it'll be okay. Of course there will always be that one test where you flunk (in my case, it's Health. I don't give a shite.), and there will be that test where you will be wringing your hands 24/7 just anticipating the result. It was a regular exam season, but special since it was the first time I managed to drag my lazy ass out of bed at 4am. Patty can attest to that. Haha.

3. Sembreak! Just to show that we truly and absolutely appreciate our break, here's a list of what I've managed to accomplish 6 days into our break:

*Read...chaptes of English novel.
*Made PLENTY of gingerbread cookies today. Mucho yum. Too much spare icing though.
*Went with the girls to have our nails done.
*Slept during the afternoon.
*Did Pilates every other afternoon.

...and there will be more. We're making bran muffins with Mum next week!

4. USC exam. No sweat...I've put down Linguistics and History next to Com. Arts in choice of course. Fiona and Miles are taking the same thing, so there's a good chance we may be seeing each other next year taking the same classes. It'll be only for one sem anyway...hopefully.

Update soon!

Cheaper Than Ayala

So a bunch of us (Patty, Fiona, Miles and me) are at school watching the CEAP sports thingy. Hardly anybody's around and we're just killing time before we have to go walk to the USC North Campus for the closing ceremony at 3pm. Titus seemed like a good choice, so four of us are parked at four different computers typing stuff out. Replyng to MM, if I know. But damn, the screen's really dark. Lucky Xanga has a white background for the editor, mwaha.

Anything new, you might ask. Well...I've narrowed down the choices of an LJ ID. It's just a matter of time before I pick one and make an account.

You know, just hanging out with friends is a lot cheaper than Ayala. We spent for lunch and worked some calories off walking from KFC to here. And we will work off the rest of our lunch walking out, so yeah.

A better update later, promise

Sick Of Looking At The Same Face In The Mirror

...so I printed out a picture from the 'Net, stepped into a salon and chopped most of my hair off. I look like a guy at certain angles now, but it's great. Yeba.

Yesterday was Sherry's party, and it was loads of fun. Patty and I went to Ming's house, and we all went together to Sherry's. Somehow, we all got the feeling that Ming would not have survived as a directioneer in a group because...uhm...wait. I think I should ask for her permission before posting it, but you get the idea. We got there safe and sound though, don't worry.

Food was amazing; lechon and roast beef, yum! The chop suey and spaghetti dishes were also really good (Note to self: find out what was in the chop suey that made it so good) and of course, Coke and Sprite all around. Both the Bees weren't there, so it wasn't complete. Big laugh though when Kor forgot to count Patty during the headcount, haha. Kat was there too, and she graciously served as our chaffeur for the evening. Yo, it was funny in the car because Kat got creeped out while driving and we were talking about ghosts and stuff. Miles was also on my lap, pressed up against my bladder and my lungs...so much for 'exchanging body heat in the passenger seat' (Miles' idea, not mine. Ryan would have been horrified.

What else. Oh yeah. Made a right idiot of myself in front of Sherry's (very cute) cousin Isser. I'll give you all the details...just let me find a hole to bury my head in first.

Have fun you guys!

Pastilaaan!

Kapoya uy!

For a Thursday, it was actually tiring. We had a quiz in Physh about Projectile Motion this morning. People were spazzing out because they didn't quite memorize the formulas, but Madam must have taken a happy pill this morning because she wrote down the formulas for us on the board. Yay! It was fairly easy, and after the whole thing I had to resist the urge to kiss my calculator. It's the bestest friend in the world.

Quiz in THE too. Grrness, I forgot the measurement that goes across your shoulders and above your neck point at the back or something. Gabey is probably shaking her finger at me and saying, "I told you so!" right now. I get it. I'll study properly next time.

What else. The Glee Clubbers have a gig next Friday singing for the Cardinal, but I seriously doubt I'll be allowed to go. Unless of course Miss Magadan got her info wrong, then maybe it'll be a go. New song too...it's a cute one called "Fill Up The Night With Music". We're going to sing that and Moon River too. The cardinal will be bopping in his chair and afterwards tearing up to Frank Sinatra, mwahaha.

By the way. Since we have a faster connection to the Internet, I shall now go ahead with my plan to create a better blog at either LJ or blogspot.com. Xanga has been great, but greater things wait ahead. Will post new bloggie address when I've got it.

Love y'all!

Don't mind the copyright sign. Don't know how to delete that.

Here we are in Titus, Vera and I. For once, I decided to update the bloggie first instead of going straight to MM because there are, in fact, people who actually read this thing. Surprising, but flattering as well.

What happened today? Well, people were not so hung up on the whole Intramurals being over. In fact, things were normal around the fourth year floor, well, as normal as we can possibly get. The only thing different about things were their complexions, with varying shades of sunburn and tanning all around.

The weather was funky. Overcast all day with light drizzles here and there. It'll probably rain properly later on.

Homework today: English, and THE. Have to start studying for Physh because it's Physh. Lovely subject, but when you think about it, it's downright useless. Our Re. Ed teacher was a drag, as usual. During his period, most people just drift off to Neverland and get called back to planet Earth when the dismissal bell rings.

Oh yeah, there was a black miming sitting behind the toilet in section B. Most people didn't really notice, but they all freaked when we told them about it. Waha. At least it's just a black cat. In our section's bathroom, there's a huge poster of Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and another basketball player posing and grinning. So you can imagine what it's like when you try to take a pee and you have these three huge guys smiling back at you. It made other people uncomfortable..someone I know flashed them. *winkwinkwinkwink*

gotta go. MM calls.
